As the central communications and marketing office at the University of Minnesota, University Relations is responsible for telling the University’s most compelling stories through the news media, in Driven to Discover marketing campaigns, on the U of M homepage, and through social media.

We also work hand-in-hand with communicators on your campuses and in your colleges and units to showcase the important work happening across our institution.

In a continued effort to find stories about how we answer critical questions, solve complex problems, create new knowledge, and deliver on our mission for Minnesota and across our nation and globe, we’re reaching out to you.

We’re looking for story ideas that align with our editorial calendar topic areas: ending addiction, protecting human rights, closing the opportunity gap, promoting healthy aging, and abolishing hunger. We are also searching for stories that will appeal to a potential student audience.
