Increasing the U of M System’s Media Presence: New Communications Tools
For the past three weeks, we've shared with you the new communications tools the University Public Relations team is using to increase the U of M System's presence in Minnesota and national media: Expert Alerts, Research Briefs, and Media/Expert Guides.
We end this series with a couple of quick ideas for amplifying content generated from these tools.
To start, you can help us with amplification by posting the links to Expert Alerts, Research Briefs, and successful media placements to your social media accounts, web pages, newsletters, and your other online channels. That way, we are reaching more of our audiences.
With Twitter, you may wish to tag the media outlet or the reporter. For Expert Alerts and Research Briefs, please use the hashtags #UMNexpert then Alert and #UMNresearch then Brief.
