December 6, 2018

Muck Rack recently released the findings from its Financial Services Journalist Survey.

Among the questions, the finance journalists were asked: Which of the following do you consider to be credible sources for your reporting?

Leading the list of eight choices was academic subject matter experts, at nearly 92 percent. Industry CEOs/executives came in second at 89 percent.

As we have posted previously, University Public Relations, in collaboration with our communications colleagues across the U of M system campuses, use Expert Alerts to amplify our expertise to local, national and international journalists on timely or trending topics.

You can see all published Expert Alerts on the News & Events webpage.

If you would like to learn more or have ideas for an Expert Alert, please contact Katrinna Dodge, kdodge@umn.edu. She is also available to speak to faculty or other unit meetings about Expert Alerts and other communications tools used to share U of M expertise and research.
