DIY Accessibility Brunch ‘n’ Learn: Writing Great Alt Text

May 24, 2019

Join the Accessibility Ambassadors on Thursday, June 20 for a presentation by ambassador Kim Doberstein of OIT.

One of the first steps in making a digital item accessible is ensuring that each image has an alternative text. In this presentation, Doberstein will address topics like how to tell if an alternative text makes sense and if it is making your digital item more or less accessible. Also, attendees will discuss what makes an alternative text good.

This presentation will be valuable for accessibility beginners and veterans alike.

Please note: Neither devices nor food will be provided as part of this event; please BYO.
