DIY Accessibility Brunch ‘n’ Learn: Writing Great Alt Text (rescheduled)
Join the Accessibility Ambassadors on Thursday, July 18 for a presentation by ambassador Kim Doberstein of OIT. This session was rescheduled from June.
One of the first steps in making a digital item accessible is to ensure that each image has an alternative text. In this presentation we will discuss what makes a good alternative text, tackling questions like How do you know if the alternative text makes sense? and Is your alternative text making your digital item more or less accessible?
The presentation will be valuable for accessibility beginners and veterans alike, so please join us.
Please note: Neither devices nor food will be provided as part of this event; please BYO.
