Marketing Scope of Work

In our work to raise the profile of the University locally, nationally, and internationally, the Marketing unit focuses on marketing and communications projects that shine a light on the great minds and amazing discoveries that solve the big challenges of our state and world.

The team's services are focused on projects for the common good. These services generally include strategic marketing and communications recommendations, digital and social media strategy and planning as well as creative services for projects that promote the President’s priorities and broader U-wide initiatives, rather than accomplish a unit-specific objective. Examples include legislative communications, safety communications, campus climate, brand identity systems (achieving brand alignment), overall brand guidance, and marketing and communications best practices. The Marketing team collaborates with the PR team to ensure the approach to projects is well integrated.
