DIY Accessibility Lunch ‘n’ Learn: Accessible Online Meetings


Join the Accessibility Ambassadors on Thursday, April 30, for a presentation by accessibility ambassador Amanda Ryan of the Institute on Community Integration within CEHD.

Ryan will discuss what makes a meeting accessible and how to make use of built-in accessibility features. She will cover Zoom and Google Meet (formerly known as Google Hangouts), and will also discuss dos and don’ts for presenters, as well as how to prevent or minimize the risk of “Zoombombing.”

About the Ambassadors

Accessibility Ambassadors is a group of University staff who are passionate about making U of M digital resources more accessible online. They bring different skills, strengths, and backgrounds, but all want to create an inclusive and accessible community at the U.

They host events to teach, advocate, and discuss digital accessibility topics and strive to be resources for the University community.
