Internal Communications Scope of Work
We view internal communication as a path toward stronger employee engagement, more satisfied employees, and effective teams. By connecting with faculty and staff via the messages and channels that they prefer, we can strengthen trust in leadership, enhance campus culture and inspire faculty and staff to advocate for the University in their communities.
The team’s services include unit-specific strategic internal communications consulting, communicator training, employee engagement counsel, and change management communications best practices. Examples include audience and channel audits, goal setting, identification of solutions for faculty and staff communication, alignment of external and internal brands, and internal communications best practices.
- Internal communications planning May consist of initial assessment, Current situation audit (what do your audiences need) and channel assessment (what's working). Consulting during development of internal comms plan, including objective setting, strategies, tactics and implementation plan.
- Communicator training Coming soon: onboarding and deep dive training to support University communicators in their work.
- Employee engagement and change management consulting Provide counsel on development of strategy to encourage engagement and support of change initiatives.
