Creating branded merchandise is a great way to deepen the connection between audiences and the University’s mission. Thoughtful design helps communicate our values while fostering pride and unity across our community. When selecting items, remember to follow brand guidelines and licensing procedures to ensure our standards are met and our impact remains strong.
Choosing a Vendor
The University of Minnesota requires any products and materials bearing the name, marks and colors of the University of Minnesota to go through one of our licensed vendors. This ensures:
- Products meet a certain level of quality for our audiences. Each of our licensed vendors has been vetted for quality and reliability.
- Vendors have been certified to meet labor laws and environmental impact goals of the University. If you have more questions or are interested in becoming a licensed vendor, please visit our Licensing and Trademarks page for more details.
